Come into the light. 10/07/2011
But, there is always light at the end of the tunnel. Especially, if you're the one holding the the flash light. In 2010, we made a plan to expand the label group from 3 to 5 labels before the end of the year. That's right 2 additional rosters of producer, 2 new label partners and all the things that go along with it. And so far we've brought Deep Nights and partner Dave Stephens up to speed and they'be released their second label compilation and next up with be Heartshape music with Lost Prophet at the helm. And not to out do ourselves we made a partnership arrangement with Concept Audio, Russia. So, maybe we're glowing a bit from all our accomplishments. But, that doesn't means we're stopping there. We want to shine more so others can see. Point Audio is not just a label, but a collective of people working together to preach and teach others about the joy of sharing "good music made by good people". There story will not end anytime soon. It will be one that will be talked about in the future. (remember the flashlight statement) We're looking to bring others to the light. Those who have become lost in the darkness of the business music and have given up on the beauty of sound. - Point Made. 1 Comment There. I can't remember the last time when I thought that "Miami is a long drive", especially when March comes around. I have made the annual homage to the mecca of electronic music with all my peeps and it was all good. But, not this year. Things seemed have changed. It's not that I love the music less this year, or the economy is sucking me the life out of me...it's just well There is no enthusiasm this year from no one in the camp. So. when you can't make it to Miami you do the next best thing....."Don't think about it and keep working hard at your craft" we will make something happen locally. Whats cool? 02/15/2011
Don't let me tell you that Kayne West isn't cool or Lady Gaga or that dude that plays piano, while c and sounds like Frank Sinatra isn't cool. I mean what the hell do I know about music. At least you should listen to a word I speak and simply click on the links that are posted and form an opinion for yourself. There are so many new bands, labels and producers popping up I can't see how the majors are even alive let alone making money with the staff size that they're running. Amazing. But there is some truth in the saying "It takes money to make money" Money is what we're looking for. Even if it means selling candy door to door.
