LOST PROPHET
Representing Seabrook, Texas, John Sutphin aka Lost Prophet started producing electronic music as a youth, breaking onto the drum & bass scene in 2000 as a dj with original productions under his belt, he was able to carve out his sound and stand apart from other local dj's. Teaming up with partner in crime Sol.ID, he was able to take his talents to the next level, as the natural chemistry in the studio lead to better tunes, and more gigs, eventually culminating in a collaboration with New Orleans recording artist Aperture, which resulted in magic, giving birth to the brief but highly touted musical output known as Autumn. With many projects LP has his hand in a bit of everything, as a featured producer on upcoming Houston hip hop label Ill Faded, Prophet & Lo Phi aka Robin Steele have dropped some heat for Houston/Norwegian recording artist DeeRail, one of Devin The Dudes upcoming Coughee Brothaz, easily at home in the studio working on a soulful groove, or a running drum & bass beat.
Taking a step back from the drum & bass scene, LP has turned his attention for the last several years to new and exciting sounds, never one to let things get stale, he has changed his style and is now known for his multi-genre sets, which run the gamut of bass heavy dance music, always one to please the crowd, you wouldn't be amiss to hear anything from disco to dubstep from this silky smooth selector.
